Time is Running Backwards
We like to keep clocks around the house. For whatever reason we like to know what time it is. Once and a while there is need to replace the batteries in these clocks. Last week this need arose, so naturally I set out today to rectify this. After a new battery was inserted into the clock and the clock was rehung high above our kitchen, we noticed something peculiar. The movement seems to be working accurately, only exactly backwards. I set the clock to 5:38 and a little over an hour later it read 4:30, a few hours after that it was 1:30.
Two questions. Has this ever happened to any of you (the clock is of the cheap target variety)? Should we leave it like this or try to fix / replace it?

jeff says you can make a clock run backwards by putting in a battery backwards... but I don't believe him.
besides, backwards clock is awesome.

you are so silly! how will you tell time if the clock is running backwards. Also, if you put the battery in wrong it wont run at all. You should take the battery out and put it back in. Maybe that will fix it. Maybe you should just get a new clock.

I have some clocks that, when hung at one certain position at one certain wall, get stuck on the '9' and time stops. The same clocks work on other walls. Time is funny.

I prefer to not put batteries in my clocks. That way they are perfectly correct twice a day.
