nothing to get excited about
so tomorrow i will be 41 weeks, which is one week overdue! how crazy is that? we have tried many things to get this guy going, but apparently he has a mind of his own and is very stubborn!
i have been having contractions every night, and they usually start out close together but then get further apart and then just stop.... so annoying. he keeps getting our hopes up and then just dashes them in an instant!
tomorrow morning at 10 am we will go to the hospital for testing the baby and the placenta and such. maybe just being at the hospital will put me in labor! but we will find out if everything is ok to wait a little longer. or if inducing is necessary. really dont want to be given a drug to get labor going, so pray it doesnt have to be that way! thanks so much for all your prayers! we are hangin in there and are very excited to show off our precious new baby!!

I wouldn't have thought that I was going first, but I am sure glad to have Judah on the outside. How quickly I forgot about pregnancy and waiting when I was able to hold him in my arms...you will too, I'm sure. Keep on waiting patiently!! God knows what He's doing!

You are such a champ! It's amazing how just one week seems sooo long when you're expecting a little one. Just keep smiling and have a treat while you wait...like ice-cream or something really yummy!

We'll be thinking of you at 10 and waiting with you to see what's next. We're glad you have great advisers (mid-wives)who will give you information and understanding. And, soon, we'll all be showing off the new baby!

I check your blog every day, anxious for the news of your little ones birth...doesn't he know we are all waiting. Maybe he's shy because we're all staring...EVERYONE TURN AWAY!

oops...i wasn't done!!!
I just wanted to say that I was induced and having nothing else to compare it to...it wasn't that bad. That advice is worth a grain of salt...you can pay me my grain later...but really it's a little capsule (that used to treat ulsers) they insert in your "you know" next to your cervix...it disolves and then triggers contractions. So it's not some crazy medication. But lets still hope he comes on his own!

Hang in there Gwen. you are experiencing the same thing I did. Gary was early and Cal was a week and a half late. We are all patiently waiting and praying for a healthy boy. We love you.
