i can't believe i am admitting this... crazy wife!
so fellow wives... i need some backup here. do you ever ask your husband to go to the grocery store, given him a short list ( ten or twelve things some which he has never purchased before or probably even seen) and then when he brings home three cartons of the wrong soymilk you look at him in amazement...why how what when why how..... etc. but then it isnt about the milk anymore, it is about everything else in your marriage that can possibly be related to milk or not even at all. "if he cant make a good decision when buying something like milk how can i trust he will make good decisions about our future or finances or safety?"
tell me i am not the only one who goes down this road! then i pretty much have our marriage counselor on the phone hoping he can talk some sense into my husband so next time he wont buy the creamy peanut butter instead of the crunchy and push me over into the insane assylum!
if i were pregnant ( AND I AM NOT) this type of behavior is really a formality, but unfortunately for this argument i have no excuse.
please tell me i am not alone in this hormonally imbalanced act!

I could laugh out loud! Oh my gosh, if you are crazy, then I must be taking the same crazy pills :-) Yes, I do that, and then I feel awful, because I completely challenged his manhood over an issue that merely involved which rag/sponge he chose to wipe up the mess on the floor with! I suppose all we can do is apologize, because I haven't figured out how to ebb the flow of this sort of tidal wave before it starts yet...oh for sad!

It's normal....I hate going to the grocery store but I decided I need to start going with him because he would come home with ridiculous things...like 60 cent spaghetti in a can?! He is very picky about what he eats too so i was shocked....yet it still sits in our cupboard, because I am not eatting that processed stuff & in reality he doesn't either, but he can't resist a good buy. I am reaching my 7th month of pregnancy and I am just to tired to go to the store today, so I sent him with a list. (: Let you know what comes home with this time! (:

Yup. It happens to the best of us, pregnant or not.

Yes and AMEN! Happens here all the time! wrong milk, peanut butter, sponge choice, wrong shirt with shorts for our 3 year old, dishes in the dishwasher... Just TODAY I don't lie, we've been here a whole month, my husband drinks coffee everyday, he had no idea the cute little cream and sugar bowls were in the cabinet... unknown to me he was fishing both items out of the huge containers in the pantry. Yet the bowls sit in the cupboard just above the coffee pot and have since we moved in... COFFEE WAS FIRST ITEM UNPACKED! I put it all together because he says "it's really had to get this creamer out of this container, my hand gets stuck" (as he demonstrates his huge hand stuck inside the huge creamer container from the pantry)... Alas, what would we do without them? Moreover, what would they do without us?

If only it weren't true...but you've sufficiently nailed it right on the head! Ever seen "The Breakup?" It's NOT funny! Just true. She's sends him to the store for some lemons and what not...he comes back without enough lemons, she's upset, then it's not about lemons, it's because he doesn't want to help...wait, it's really because he doesn't buy her flowers...oh actually, now it's because he doesn't take her to the ballet! Why does that sound so familiar??? If only there was a rescue from myself.
Love your posts.
