it's that time

alright, dahlia is two and she does everything i have been afraid she was going to do. up until the past week or two she was really a good little girl, but i kept waiting for her to turn into that terrible two year old that everyone was warning me was inevitable. it is very frustrating! she is just a constant stinker with a very STRONG will (= also she has become an extremely picky eater lately. refuses most things. only eating fruit leathers, spaghetti, bananas... she even refused pizza tonight!! but the good news is she drinks milk from a cup now! she never would before, she had been drinking it from a bottle till a few weeks ago. i know i know, i should have gotten her off it it earlier, but it was just too difficult. but she decided she was ready and i didnt even have to try. that seems to be how things are with her, if you rush her into something it doesnt work, but if we just wait for her to be ready, things go more smooth. hopefully potty training will go like that. she seemed like she was getting close to ready, but now she decided she doesnt want to. so whatever, she is only two and i will be fine if she gets it by the time she is three. whenever we put her on her potty chair, she strains and makes noises like something is going on, but then gets up and nothing is there, she is a good actor (= very cute though.

she still loves her brother a lot, but likes to randomly smack him upside the head, not so much a love pat as it is a "i need attention and if i do this, then mommy will come over and make funny faces at me and put me in my room, wont that be fun " grrrr, not fun at all..poor little valen has taken quite the beating lately, but i am sure he will return the favor to her once he is able.
