dahlia is three years old today! she has been so excited about it! she is learning the days of the week and knew that it was on friday january 2nd... so she kept saying that all week. every time i was on the phone she would insist i tell them it was her birthday on friday.

she is the snuggliest most fun girl we could have imagined, constantly pretending and making up everything! she loves to learn about everything, especially letters and writing. she can write her name and valens name, oh and mom. she just came up to me one day with her drawing pad saying "look mommy look mommy" she was so proud of herself. she also enjoys drawing and cooking! she hasnt gotten to the word "why" yet, but more the words " what ya doin mommy" "what you got mommy" things like that. more whats than whys.

everyday we love her more and just are baffled at how amazing she is... i asked her the other day where she gets all her cuteness, and she answered me "from mommy". i  promise i did not tell her that before!! (=
