First Road Trip

I finally met my other grandparents this weekend. They are home from Thailand for good now! We all had so much fun at the beach! I decided to be a good girl for the trip so my parents could enjoy themselves. Here are some pictures from the journey.

Great Grandma Davis and Me. I just woke up from a long nap.

Uncle Travis trying to teach me yahtzee.

New Clothes From Thailand, they are a little big, but I'll grow into them before long.

secure in my cuteness

I just want everyone to know that it is ok that my mother doesn't dress me in pink!! sure sometimes people mistake me for a boy, but it doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I am secure in my cuteness! (= besides my mother doesn't wear pink and no one thinks she is a boy.... she does have a bit more hair than me though... I like her taste in clothes, and if she wants to dress me like her in more funky colored stuff, then I am all for it!  I don't have to look like every other five month old girl .... but if those other moms like that sort of thing that is fine for them! honestly I look seriously goofy in frilly, girlie, pinkie stuff!!! don't you wear what makes you feel good? don't you pick out clothes that fit your personality and tastes? exactly what my mother is doing (=
but for all ya'll that think that I have to have something pink simply because I am a female... I do have one red and pink polka-dotted shirt!! oh... and some pink slippers that are cute!

keepin my chin up

It doesn't make any sense!!! my parents get to eat whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want.  I always see them chompin on cookies........ice cream.....pasta....tots... all sorts of stuff, and they never give me one bite! Sure I don't have any teeth yet, but I've got a great tongue and a pair of sharp gums. I've been trying to drop subtle hints as often as I can. I stare them down and smack my lips together... but they just aren't catching on!
Moreover, I'd really like to be able to move around on my own now. Sure it's nice to be paraded around like royalty all the time, but  I've got legs, I want so much to use them!! I am just not good at it yet! I've been doing my best ..but I guess my best isn't good enough! I've been liftin my head up, rollin over...how long is this going to take! My parents seem to insist that I have to learn to roll over before I can walk. I never see them rolling over and they seem to walkin around just fine!
They must know what they are talkin about they are my parents afterall... I am sure I will see clearly once I am older.
